Field Technical Service Manager Denmark (m/f)

Your responsibilities:

As the Field Technical Service Manager you will:

  • Provide practitioners with technical support and scientific advice in relation to our client's swine products;
    field tasks will cover approximately 75% of your working hours
  • Be responsible for customer visits (vets, vet clinics, key accounts and farms)
    in accordance with national legislation
  • Support Sales and Marketing in your country
  • Secure the correct use of the products in accordance with applicable legislation
  • Closely collaborate with Marketing regarding the product positioning
  • Be responsible for product and marketing trials in collaboration with the head of country and the technical department in the German head office
  • Be part of the preparation of scientific articles for peer reviewed journals
    as well as articles for stakeholder magazines
  • Be responsible for the diagnostic services and pharmacovigilance,
    in contact with the German headquarters
  • Build and maintain relationship to regional influencers and research institutions.
    Operations will be controlled from the office in Denmark
  • You will report directly to the head of country

Your qualifications:

  • Qualifications in Veterinary Science, preferably with advanced studies and/or Veterinary specialist training
  • Several years of experience in swine practice, preferably with some commercial exposure
  • Familiar with modern swine farming and knowledge of the interaction between agricultural organizations and major animal medicine producers. Be prepared to accept a central role in this area
  • Convincing personality, confident and competent to persuade veterinarians, farmers and opinion leaders
  • Happy to take sporadic travel in Europe sometimes over several days. Very good written and spoken English skills and proficient usage of MS Office
