Our client is a worldwide leader in the agriculture business. The company has a huge expertise in a specialized sector within the livestock area.

For a newly created position we are looking for an expert to fill the following role to the next possible date

Public relations and communication manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • You are part of a very diverse and international operating team
  • In this newly created position you are globally responsible for the inner communication and the outer public relations of the company
  • You know how to use the radiance of this worldwide known company and expand it
  • You are the person in charge for all external instances: authorities, consumers, NGOs, educational institution and key opinion leaders
  • Lobbying work with existing and new partners is key element in your daily work
  • You are responsible for dealing with press and media
  • Self-confident you handle crisis management
  • You make decisions regarding the best approach to protect the company"s interests depending on a given business situation
  • You guarantee the reliable preparation, realisation and further development of relevant national and international communication strategies
  • Proactive establishment of strong working relationships, credibility and trust with all external partners and colleagues sounds appealing to you
  • Explain the company"s growth strategy within the company in a way to assure a good perception and improved understanding
  • You are responsible for the organization and conduction of various internal and external informative meetings including press conferences and the preparation of press releases
  • Working closely together with all internal interface especially the marketing team
  • You will be based in Lower Saxony

Your qualifications:

  • You are a professional in public relations and communication
  • You are at home in the field of food, feed, life sciences or agribusiness
  • Ideally you bring a wide network in the above mentioned areas
  • Comfortable to assert the company"s position in the public
  • You used to handle social media and press sensitively
  • Strong prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to adjust and shift priorities according to demanding deadlines
  • Creative and able to put developed concepts into an appealing design
  • Characterized by a high personal proactivity and great resilience
  • Used to work independent and structured, deliver results effectively whereby you love the challenge
  • Critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills as well as the ability to manage multiple projects with various topics is an advantage
  • Verbal and written dexterity in German and English required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge in IT Tools
